Application of Fischer-Tropsch wax in filling masterbatch processing:

1. The good dispersion and wetting performance of Fischer-Tropsch wax itself plays a vital role in the processing of plastic products.

2, Fischer-Tropsch wax and polymer compatibility is small, during processing is easy to transfer from the polymer to the surface, at the interface orientation arrangement, through physical adsorption to form a lubricant molecular layer, can reduce the friction between the polymer and the surface of the equipment, prevent it from adhering to the mechanical surface, thereby improving the flow performance, Fischer-Tropsch wax and polymer has a certain degree of compatibility, and at high temperature compatibility increases, producing a plasticizing effect, weakening the cohesion between polymer molecules, reducing internal friction, reducing body viscosity and increasing fluidity.

3. Fischer-Tropsch wax has low kinematic viscosity due to its small molecular weight, which has good wetting performance for inorganic pigment particles, reduces the probability of particle collision, thereby improving the dispersion effect of pigments, and the higher hardness of Fischer-Tropsch wax will also improve the anti-friction effect of masterbatches.

In the plastic filling masterbatch, due to the addition of a large number of inorganic fillers, the characteristics of plastics are greatly reduced, which requires low viscosity, high hardness, high dispersion force wax as a dispersion lubricant to adjust the surface working conditions of inorganic substances, so that it can be effectively and uniformly dispersed into the carrier, reduce the wear of production equipment and production energy consumption, and ensure the good performance of masterbatch in downstream use.

In the functional masterbatch, due to some special requirements, different performance materials are added to the carrier, and the addition of wax reduces the viscosity in the masterbatch processing, so that it has a reasonable processing rate and power consumption, and improves the appearance of the product.
